Dr. Sampath Chandra Prasad Rao has been selected to be onboard a 17 member team in the newly constituted COVID 19 Clinical Advisory Panel to the Government of Karnataka headed by Prof. Ravi, BMCRI. This team will be also be responsible for the implementation of directives on COVID 19 by WHO, Government of India and Government of Karnataka, coordination between  different governmental agencies and the hospitals across the state and the overseeing of establishment and management of isolation beds in private and public hospitals

Dr. Rao is also the member of the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) Expert Committee on COVID 19 which is also an advisory body to the GoK.
